So, This was interesting to play with. I hadn't really considered Jeff Bezos with entirely warm skin tones. I really imagined him being mostly straight white with these spots of color. I used reference images from work by John Hendrix to try to get an idea of what a person looks like when their flesh tones are of a different hue...though putting it that way I suddenly realize I could have just done experiments in photoshop too.... oh well. I used the same draw-trace-scan-color process with a charcoal pencil and brush. Whereas the Jim Boenheim image looked great on way, I think this one needs to have the chunkier lines.
Admittedly, this is odd as a close up image and great as a thumbnail size. I think I need to do it with less blending and harder lines separating the color.... But, alas, it is almost 10:30 so I am ended.
